Measuring Guide for Graywind Smart Outdoor Shades

1. Measure Depth：

Measure at the depth within the frame where you'll install the brackets. Minimum 3 2/5 inches depth is required for Ceiling Mount. When install depth less than 2 15/16 inches, the shade will extend beyond the window frame.

2. Measure Width：

Measure the openness width across the top, middle and bottom to make more accurate, take note of the smallest measurement to 1/16 inch.

3. Measure Height：

Measure the height of window openness from top to sill across right, middle and left, take down the smallest one to 1/8 inch.

Note: Outdoor shades will have no deductions taken at the factory. They will be made according to your exact measurements.

1. Measure Depth：

Check the extended window casing depth, if there are handles or cranks, don't forget to take them into account.

2. Measure Width：

Measure the width of area you want to cover. Recommend adding 1-6 inches based on openness width to ensure light control and privacy.

3. Measure Height：

Measure the desired height of area you want to cover and record the measurement. Leave at least 3 3/8 inches to allow for valance height and mounting area above the window.

Note: Outdoor shades will have no deductions taken at the factory. They will be made according to your exact measurements.

Installation was easy, but more information to install would be helpful.
We has side by side installation and should have had a minimum distance between anchors.

Love these window treatments. This is our third order of graywind. Our first order done in 2022 is still look and operate like new. Also customer service is wonderful. Emailed with them for custom color. dual blind, color choice samples, and remote questions.
Love that these blinds are smart blinds. We have ours programmed with Alexa. They open with a key phase and close at a set time each evening.

Amazing Product

Everything was as promised. This is a professionally finished product that does not fail to impress! We had a couple of questions regarding the measuring requirements and the customer service help was timely and helpful. The website is detailed, but take your time to carefully document your required measurements. My only recommendation/suggestion for improvement would be to purchase/utilize a more solid drywall anchor other than the metal ones supplied - which do not perform well. The product is competitively priced, looks great, and we love it!

Patio Sun Shades

Ordered two sun shades for our patio. After some communications to assure they were exactly what I wanted and that I measured correctly, I placed and order for two shades with the solar panel recharge units. They arrived within two weeks. I installed them myself and the install was much easier than I even imagined. I caould not be happier with my purchase.
